Good quality at a good price. : Rust-Oleum 7564838 Professional High Performance Enamel Spray Paint, Safety Red, 15-Ounce
I purchased a sharp yellow Dot truck for $2000. The passenger door was from someone else truck. I got estimates for a paint job from some shops, all in the $1700-2500 range. I hated the yellow so much. This summer I began sanding the truck Mr Miyagi style. I then used the rustolem primer, sanded, primered more, and sanded again. It looked undoubtedly good grey. I called the 800 whole on the Rustolem primer I was using and asked them if they had ever heard of a rattle can paint job turning out 'other than horrible/obvious'. They recommended their expert High performance line of paint. At the time it wasn't ready at any local Lowes or Home Depots. I ordered it through Amazon. I ordered both the Gloss Black and Royal Blue since I couldnt decide. Both colors are the baddest spray paints I have ever encountered. I went with the Royal Blue and applied the first coat. It took 5 cans. These are large cans too. After it dried a few days I lightly sanded it. I'm about to put the second coat on it. It looks better than Maaco already. The hardest part is taping everything, removing mirrors etc.
I highly recommend this paint!
